Qualifications of the Dominica Citizen by Investment


Compared to other countries in the region, Dominica has very reasonable qualifications for their Citizenship by Investment program.

  • Applicants must be over 21 years of age.
  • The investor and their family must pass a criminal background check.
  • Applicants and their family must be in good health.
  • Applicants must have a basic comprehension of English.
  • Applicants are required to pay the government an approved non-refundable investment.
  • Applicants must pay all application and governmental fees.

Dominica Investment Requirements


Applicants can meet the investment requirements of the Commonwealth of Dominica in one of two ways:

Investing in the Government Fund (Donation) – The main applicant and spouse must make a one-time donation of USD 175,000 or the main applicant with up to three qualifying dependents must make a one-time donation of USD 200,000. Any additional dependent of the main applicant (other than spouse) is considered a non-refundable contribution of USD 25,000.

Applicants must also pay all required due diligence and processing fees.

Due diligence fees:

  • USD 7,500 for the primary applicant
  • USD 4,000 for the spouse
  • USD 4,000 per dependent 16 years and older

Processing and other fees:

  • USD 1,000 per application
  • USD 750 per applicant (Certification of Naturalization fee)
  • USD 1,200 per applicant (expedited passport issue fee)

Investing in a Government approved Real Estate Development – The applicant is required to make a minimum investment of USD 200,000 in a government-approved real-estate project. The applicant must also maintain their investment for a minimum of 3 years.

Applicants must also pay all required government, due diligence, and processing fees
 

Government fees:

  • USD 25,000 for the single applicant
  • USD 35,000 for a family of up to 4 persons (including the main applicant, their spouse, and two additional dependants)
  • USD 50,000 for a family of up to 6 persons (including the main applicant, their spouse, and four additional dependants)
  • USD 75,000 for a family of 7 persons or more (including the main applicant, their spouse, and five or more additional dependants)

Due diligence fees:
