Qualifications of the Grenada Citizen by Investment
To obtain Grenada citizenship, applicants must meet the following requirements.
- The main applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
- All applicants and dependents must not hold a criminal record. Additionally, they must all pass a due diligence examination.
- The main applicant is required to make the appropriate investment in real estate and is required to hold that investment for at least four years.
- Children and dependents under 18 can apply for citizenship under the main applicant.
- Dependents 18 – 26 can apply for citizenship under the main applicant provided they are fully dependent on the main applicant and studying full-time for higher education.
- Dependent parents ages 65 and older can apply for citizenship under the main applicant.
Grenada Investment Requirements
The Grenada Investor Program requires applicants to meet all of the required financial investments, to include one of the following:
A nonrefundable contribution to National Transformation Fund (NTF):
The applicant makes a one-time contribution of US $200,000 for a family of four. Plus, an additional one-time deposit of US $25,000 for each additional dependent.
Due diligence and background check fees:
- USD 5,000 for the main applicant
- USD 5,000 for each dependent over the age of 17
- Dependents under the age of 17 are not charged
Processing and application fees:
- USD 1,500 processing fee for each applicant ages 18 and older
- USD 500 processing fee for each applicant under 18 years
- USD 1,500 application fee for each applicant
Real estate investment:
Applicants can purchase government-approved real estate in Grenada with a value of at least USD 350,000. They must maintain their investment for at least four years, and pay the following government, due diligence, and processing fees:
Government fees:
- USD 50,000 for the main applicant and a family of four
- USD 25,000 for each additional qualifying dependent
*Dependents include parents or grandparents over 65 and any dependent between the ages of 18 and 25 if they are studying full time for higher education.
Due diligence and background check fees:
- USD 5,000 for the main applicant
